War for Cybertron has exceptional audio and voice-acting. The most pleasant surprise, for me, was to find that Peter Cullen (the original voice of Optimus Prime) lent his amazing talent to this project, which is certainly a treat for the fans as his epic delivery as Optimus is spot-on. Many other very talented actors, including Fred Tatasciore, do fine work and compliment the project perfectly. Read more

    • finally, a good Transformers game..., surprising online, incredible audio/voice-acting, Peter Cullen!, amazing fan service
    • graphics can be horrid, finding games online can be hard, a bit short..., A.I. is less than impressive

I'd rather watch Twilight on loop for a few hours than play this game again. North Korean interrogators will no doubt use this as a torture method for captured professional Halo players. Pros It has Optimus Prime in it. That is the one and only redeeming factor. Cons It's a repetitive, boring, unchallenging, plagiarised game obviously developed by a bunch of hack gaming developers who thought it would be fun to rip off Halo. Suprise!! Read more

Animation has never been short on giant robots, but Transformers is probably among the most successful and endearing. Global success has come in the form of numerous cartoons, anime, comics and lately, live-action movies. Not too shabby for a cartoon that was originally conceived to push a toy line. However, while gaming loves its giant robots too, there haven’t been that many games on the Transformers front. Read more
