There is nothing worse than disappointment, especially when you've built up your hopes so high.  This is particularly true when you know that the game in question has such great … Read more

Rather than having a linear single-player experience with a straightforward narrative, Naughty Bear has seven collections of increasingly difficult episodes that must be unlocked by winning a certain number of bronze, gold, and silver trophies, given out for high scores in the preceding episodes. For most players, this will mean dipping into the early episodes of each chapter multiple times to pick up enough trophies. Read more

    • Good concept, Some amusingly brutal kills.
    • Game mechanics are rough around the edges, Basic combat lacks challenge, Shallow storytelling, Too much main game content locked off.

There is no point in me waffling on about this game as that would be counter productive to your gaming time. I can't recommend this game to purchase, rent or even attempt to win for free. It's unfortunate because its concept is appealing but its delivery is somewhat abysmal. In the hands of another developer this could’ve been somewhat of a better quality but Naughty Bear as it stands is un bear able. Read more

Conclusion Naughty Bear is a great example that a game doesn’t have to be epic to be awesome. Which it is, in every sense of the word; stalking, killing and making insane a slew of helpless teddy bears could only be this fun in this day and age where such actions in a childish video game are looked down upon. It's such a let down, because the potential is certainly there. Rather than have Naughty Bear scare from the bushes or pop out of closets, why not have jack in the boxes, masks, ghost costumes or anything prank-worthy - but with a vicious twist? It could have piqued interest and numbed the pain of the incredibly dull gameplay. In the end, Naughty Bear gives you the bear necessities, and very little else. Read more

The idea is solid, and it reminds me of conkers bad fur day from the n64, however, unlike conkers bad fur day (which was a great game) this game is terrible, absolute rubbish. I'm not even sure how this game even managed to get released if anything it should have been released as an XBLA game for 800MS (if they were lucky, its not even worth that). Read more

    • The idea behind the game is good. You take something childish which is expected to be PG, then throw in violence.
    • Everything. The game only has 3 zones, which are alternated between each level or "episode" as the game refers to them. By the time you've done episode 3, you mose wel...
