Upon the release of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare , players were instantly marvelled by the deeply engaging story, compelling gameplay and fantastically designed multiplayer. When Call of Duty: World at War was announced, many of us moaned at the prospect of going back to the battlefields of World War 2 in what was seemingly a step backwards for the series. Now with the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, many of us have been... Read more

So it's not without its problems, no-one is claiming it's perfect. But as a follow-up to 2007's smash, Call of Duty 4, it progresses in nearly every way. Unfortunately,... Read more

On face value, the game deserves every rave review bestowed upon it. Unfortunately here in Australia, there is one major caveat preventing me from bestowing it the highest of accolades. The matchmaking system is flawed. Seriously flawed. Sometimes it takes literally minutes to find a game. If you are set up as a party of friends then it could take longer than that. A party of three of my friends took us 20 minutes to find a game we could connect to. Also party chat is... Read more
