    Still, the online Franchise mode does a lot of things really well. Those who have played NCAA's Online Dynasty will instantly recognize the basic setup where all participants flag whether or not they're ready to play the week. If some players lag behind, the commissioner can force the franchise to move forward, and if the commissioner cannot fulfill his duties for any given week, he can promote another player and have him take on the role.     • Pro-Tak gives some oomph to the game, Online franchise works well, Passing game feels more realistic, Streamlined menus make it easier to jump around.
    • Commentary is still pretty bad, Downfield run blocking still needs work, AI defensive schemes are a little inconsistent, Enough with the referee cutscenes.

    The game is another quality addition to one of EA's cash cows. Accurate, detailed, involved and able to err on the Action or Simulation dependent on your mood, it really captures what NFL is and encapsulates it in game form. Pros Accurate and entertaining electronic version of NFL; great new online features; very realistic to player movements. Read more

    • Crappy cut scenes detract from the game; AI can be too stupid or too smart, which is just plain confusing; camera angles induce nausea.
