    Maybe I'm being a little hard on the game, but Crackdown was flawed genius. It came out of practically nowhere, and sure, it was bought by the truckloads because of the Halo3 Multiplayer Beta offer. However, the game was unexpectedly compelling and fun, even if it felt a little rough and unfinished. Crackdown 2 still feels rough and unfinished. In fact, it feels even more so than the first, especially when viewed as a single player experience. Read more

    • keeps the addictive agility orb collection game, spices the orb collection with "rogue orbs", heaps of things to blow up and kill, fun multiplayer, fantastic soun...
    • unconvincing story, boring, repetitive missions, stupid AI, many problems of the first game not addressed

    Though it is aggravating, this problem isn't bad enough to ruin the appeal of exploration and orb collection, and there's a lot of fun to be had in just roaming around. The other collectibles to be found in Pacific City are audio logs. They come in a number of varieties and shed light on your enemy's agenda and other threats to public safety. These voiced snippets are the only substantial form of plot development in Crackdown 2, but they are few and far between. Read more

    Crackdown 2 is an average game, the fun will only last a few hours before you notice that everything that it offers is presented to you right at the start. If you are not fussed about story, controls or gameplay then this is one for you! Read more

    • The first 2 hours then it's all down hill
