    DICE and EA have a real opportunity here. Burnout Paradise has shown that EA can commit to the life span of a game with regular, and varied new content that is actually worth paying for. If they can work with Battlefield fans to solve the remaining glitches and bring out regular, well priced new content, then there's no reason why Battlefield Bad Company 2 can't become the premier online multiplayer experience.     • destruction 2.0!, great voice acting and fun campaign, great graphics and audio, gorgeous looking, well designed levels, amazing multiplayer experience
    • not as bug free as I'd hoped it would be, too many MW2 ‘inspired' campaign moments?

    Sound As with all Battlefield games, the sound plays an important part in the aforementioned Battlefield Experience. Each and every gun has unique and very precise, crisp sounds and mixed with the echoes of many firefights happening on the very same battlefield and vehicular combat, make a great immersive experience.     The campaign is a focused, largely linear adventure that takes you to a variety of gorgeous locations. The aforementioned arctic and jungle landscapes are standouts, but other places live up to the high standard. Driving a tank through a countryside in the full bloom of autumn provides eye candy and cannon fodder aplenty, while speeding around a dry seabed in an ATV brings strange sights, not to mention a particularly fierce firefight in the courtyard of an old fortress.     If you haven’t figured it out yet, this expansion to Battlefield: Bad Company 2 takes place in Vietnam during the infamous Vietnam War . Very few games have dared to venture into this dark period of history, partly due to the fact that it simply is very difficult to do a game based on the conflict. Read more
