    After Assassin's Creed, I was a little worried that the series would simply fade away. So many other Ubisoft games have suffered because of sequelitis, but the premise was interesting enough that I would like to see its conclusion. Playing Assassin's Creed II, one can't help but think Ubisoft really did listen to the criticism of the last game. Everything has been expanded upon and improved. Read more

    The climbing and jumping wouldn't be as rewarding if Ezio weren't so graceful, but he is one of the best-animated characters yet seen in a game. You'll admire his footwork early in the game in particular, when his assassin's garb does not veil the incredible animations of his legs and feet.     Assassin’s Creed was released in 2007 to wild hype and fanfare, and became one of the most successful new IPs of the current generation. And it did so without being a critical darling, though a lot of the reviews seemed to focus on some vaguely defined flaws.
