    Okay, here’s the score: a Predator has been trapped on earth since the early ’30s, when it tried to commit suicide but somehow survived the blast that destroyed everything else in a 10 mile radius. Now, under instruction from the boys back home, our partially-invisible friend is stalking criminals around a labyrinthine city, saving innocent citizens from laser-totin' junkies, skinning porn stars and dodging omnipresent police cameras.     The 1980s could certainly be said to have been the golden age of over the top action movies. Coupled with the Reagan presidency, this age of movies that featured muscle-bound, can-do American heroes saw more patriotic overtones than we’re likely to ever experience again. One of the success stories from this era was Predator , a movie about a bunch of American Green Berets who fly to a jungle on a rescue mission, only to find something much more sinister. Read more

    They did throw in some aliens. At the end. Oh bugger, I've spoiled it now!!!   I would totally disagree with that review though. 3/5, maybe 4 depending on price and/or your skillz with a pad. Not the easiest game in terms of control, can be quite fiddly. But once you get used to it the game does do a good job of bringing the Predator to life. Tons of weapons and gadgets, some seriously violent executions, plenty of gameplay styles in the mix. It's a good game. Read more
