That being said, it might be the only downside to this game, and I'm pretty sure anyone who as ever played a WWII console game knows what they're getting into when a new one comes out. As irreverent as it is to those who fought and died during World War 2, it's hard not to be sick of the whole conflict. When Call of Duty arrived on PC back in 2003, it quickly established itself as one of the best first-person shooters on the market, thanks to it’s highly intense scripted battles – the addictive multiplayer didn’t hurt, either. However, when the series headed towards the console, it seemed to lose something – the fact it was a new game developed by another company probably had a bit to do with it. Read more
