I'm going to give you a little backstory about my relationship with Mario. The very first game I ever played was Super Mario Bros. back in 1986. Read more

At 17 hours, game finished and only 12 more stars left to absolute completion, I can say it's at least decent in length. And yes, there're plenty of new puzzles, new levels, and more variation in enemies, music and gameplay, but not enough to raise the bar. It's still the king of 3D platformers, it's just more of what we know and love. Read more

    • New power-ups, Yoshi and Luigi, More variation in level design, enemies and gameplay, Still the best 3D platformer around
    • No 'real' gaming hub, Similar to first game, Disappointing ending, Progression of difficulty poorly executed

Easily one of the 'must have' games of the last 5 years. Get it, play it, and thank me later for advising you to do it. You won't regret the financial outlay on this one. Pros Wonderful level design. Unique approach to platforming that redefines the genre. Truly one of the most innovative games released in years. Cons Music will drive you mental. Non-existant story. Camera a bit strange at times. Read more

If the huge variety of goals doesn't sound like a big enough change, there are also power-ups that further mix things up. One of the few weak spots in the original Galaxy was a lack of interesting power-ups to play around with, but that has been rectified here. The most notable addition is Yoshi, the lovable dinosaur with the prehensile tongue. Once on this green fellow's back, you can point at enemies or objects with the remote and swallow them whole. • Levels have tons of different objectives, all of them fun, New power-ups spice up the action, Later levels offer a sizable challenge, Stunning visuals that are a marve...

While there’s nothing quite like lining up the perfect headshot in Modern Warfare 2 or single-handedly slaughtering a rival gang in Grand Theft Auto, sometimes it’s the simple things in gaming life that are the most satisfying. And in shirking shocks and ultraviolence for unparalled charm, creativity and variety, Nintendo has delivered one of Mario’s greatest adventures to date, and a killer title no Wii owner should be without. Overall it's a pretty good game to play alone but if you have a friend I don't reccomend it. I always refused to play as Player 2 because all you get to do is shake and press the "a" button. Read more

    • It has got a great storyline, Easy to learn, Great sounds and graphics, Great 1 Player game, It is very simple at the start
    • 2 Player Co-op is useless player 2 does nothing.
