    Initially, you have only a few simple moves at your disposal. But you'll gain access to a wide array of techniques as you progress, most of which are performed with a combination of button presses and sword swings. Some of these moves are doled out automatically at certain points in the story, while others can be purchased with the money you earn for completing missions and by blasting open every box you come across.     • Story and characters are underdeveloped, Enemies sometimes employ frustrating tactics, Some awful voice acting.

    It's great to see the WiiMotion Plus getting a run, but I would bet that it will only get one run at your place. Red Steel 2 is a very pretty game, but its repetitve nature a pointelss challenge mode tends to spoil it, as it is a good bit of hack'n'slash'n'shoot fun. Pros Looks the goods - WiiMotion Plus accuracy is not far off the mark - Juggling opponents ALWAYS equals win! Read more

    While we quite liked it, Red Steel got a bad wrap. Seemingly people’s expectations of rainbows and kittens weren’t met when this experimental title was first released on the Wii, and playing one level or five minutes of a game is enough to make an informed judgement.
