    Linksys’ first simultaneous dual-band 802.11n router is one of the best on the market, providing a bevy of features and blisteringly fast speeds. The WRT610N boasts a stylish enclosure with a minimalist design. The router is not very tall but this space-saving measure is compromised by its width. This increase in size can largely be attributed to the use of internal wireless antennas rather than external as found on most other units. Read more

    Wireless routers with internal antennas have a much tidier appearance, and the Linksys WRT610N combines this with an unusually sleek outline. Instead of the usual plugpack, the WRT610N comes with an inline power pack with a short mains lead - and the review sample had a US mains plug! We’ll put that down to an oversight. Read more

    The Gadget: Linksys’ Dual-N Band Wireless Router just became official, giving users simultaneous 5GHz and 2.4GHz bands so 802.11N users and 802.11G users can coexist without N users having to use the crowded 2.4GHz space. Also, since it’s dual N-band, two N users can connect (one to each frequency) without interfering with the other. Read more
