The core mechanic that fuels Bayonetta's combat complexity is your instantaneous ability to dodge enemy assaults: Pulling the right trigger at almost any time--including midcombo--will cause Bayonetta to pirouette out of the way without any downtime to avoid an attack. Enemies hit hard and rarely drop bonus health, so it is in your best interest to exploit your dodging prowess as often as possible. Bayonetta oozes sexuality, style, coolness and beauty. Its story is outrageous and at times incoherent, but Bayonetta is a memorable and incredibly likable heroine. The combat is superb and incredibly deep, offering something that every gamer should experience. The game builds up to a massive climax, with the final few boss battles being absolutely epic. Bayonetta is the epitome of style and coolness in games. It’s an absolute must-play. Read more
