Simulating the buzz of a night out is what Late Night does best, and it gives you some good tools to enhance that buzz. One of them is the grouping mechanic. You can invite other sims to join your group, and suddenly, it's like having your own posse tagging along. If you show up at a club only to discover that it's deader than a doornail, you can drag your pals to a different hot spot, where you might dance together, flirt, play darts, or share a round of drinks or bar... Devotees of the series might have a big decision in making the financial leap into The Sims treadmill of expansion packs, despite the changes; will the experience be new enough for them? Hard to say, but newcomers will find a game that engrosses, is hard to fault in polish, and will definitely suck up a significant portion of real-world life. Read more

Like them or loathe them, you'd have to have been living on the moon to not know the influence that The Sims franchise has had on PC sales charts for the last decade. For those moon babies among us, here's a couple of staggering figures to clue you in; over 100 million units of The Sims titles have been sold since the launch of the original title back in February 2000, with the latest iteration in the series, The Sims 3 selling a whopping 1.4 million copies in its first... Boring repetitive, all the characters are so ugly cartoonistic game. They dont even support their own game hiding direct link to the patches is a shameful if you ask me. Why do they hide any links to the patches? They want you to update the game via the game itself which is bad if you needed to keep a copy of the patches for future reinstallation. 0 out 10 is my rating. Read more

    • NOthing good about it at all
    • boring and repetitive and the characters are all ugly. YOu have to buy characters from their websites with real money a way to rip off their own customers.
