    We really liked the 17-inch MacBook Pro, it's a great machine that delivers the goods in terms of performance and design. Despite its size as a 17-inch desktop replacement, Apple has managed to keep a svelte and slim figure that's barely any thicker than the 15-inch model. Of course, there are some drawbacks from the design, and we're sure the non-removable battery is probably on top of your mind. Read more

    And then we got the box and the first thing you have to appreciate about Apple is that they are excellent designers. The Macbook Pro 17 inch looks less like a “computer” and more like something you want to use. It could be put on any surface in the world and still have a semblance of style that few companies can bring to nearly every device. But the Macbook does it. Read more
