Apple has a five year lead on Microsoft, is the king of legal online media distribution and has a downright erotic player.     Technical Department Zune supports a variety of audio and video formats, many of which have already been supported by Zune First Generation players. Supported formats for audios are, MP3, WMA, Protected-WMA, WMA Lossless and AAC. WMV, MPEG-4 and H.264 are the supported video formats with DVD quality at a rate of 30 frames per second! Zune is also compatible with DVR-MS (created with Windows Media Center) recorded video content. Read more
