The Canon 70-200mm delivers a near flawless performance. The picture quality is second to none. Adding an EF 1.4x II only results is a slight loss of quality which is remarkable for such a slow speed zoom. I reckon this is a gift from Canon to it's users, given it's affordable price tag, solid built and superb picture quality. You can't find direct comparable lens from Nikon or any other 3rd party lens manufacturer. Read more
