The first thing that strikes you about the TRAX 5000 is its wonderful big 5-inch screen with a faceplate that extends across the bezel so it looks very smart indeed. The next thing that strikes you is that the mounting bracket isn’t nearly so smart, especially if you have a fairly new European-made car with the shallow-sloping windscreens that are part of the EU pedestrian safety regulations.
