    When the Sony PlayStation 2 was released, it rocked the very foundations of how a lot of less tech-savvy people thought of leisure time. Presenting a relatively inexpensive and uncomplicated option for making the jump into the world of DVD-Video, and offering a built-in games machine at the same time, it seemed like the marketing move of the century.
