    Perhaps the only device currently on the market that can claim to be a true competitor to the , HTC's Touch Diamond is an impressive looking smartphone packed with features. The TouchFLO 3D interface is designed to make using this Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone hassle-free, but unfortunately it falls short. Read more

We did manage to get a sneak preview of this gem earlier on and had expected a huge hype over this device. Appearances do matter, and especially so in the current market where the Diamond takes the crown as a Windows Mobile device that's small in stature, while possessing a style that's hard to replicate.     Its a very bad experience buying this phone. It stopped working after 3 months, nothing comes up in display.. no option works ..neither the service center has equipment to fix this issue. All my money is put in waste now. DON'T BUY THIS PHONE. Read more

The HTC Touch Diamond combines hi-tech prowess with intuitive usability and in a simple minimal design. Its housing is of a stunning formation of brushed metal and flawless faceted edges, measuring 102 mm x 51 mm x 11.35 mm (L x W x T), weighing approximately 110 g including the battery.

Features

The HTC Touch Diamond runs on a Qualcomm MSM 7201A 528 MHz processor and Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system. In terms of memory, the HTC Touch Diamond has a 256 MB ROM and 192 MB DDR SDRAM, 4 GB worth of internal storage. As for the display, it is of a 2.8 inch TFT LCD flat touch-sensitive screen with VGA resolution. Supported networks include HSDPA/ WCDMA of 900 / 2100 MHz wit up to 384 kbps up-link and 7.2 Mbps down-link speeds, Tri-band GSM/ GPRS/ EDGE of 900/ 1800/ 1900 MHz. Its device control is in the form of TouchFLO 3D and Touch-sensitive navigation control. The HTC Touch Diamond is GPS and A-GPS ready. It can be connected via Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g and HTC ExtUSB 11 pin mini-USB 2.0 and audio jack in one. The main camera is of 3.2 mega pixel with auto focus whereas the second camera is a VGA CMOS colour camera. The HTC Touch Diamond runs on rechargeable Lithium-ion or Lithium-ion polymer battery with a capacity of 900 mAh which provides talk time of up to 270 minutes for WCDMA and up to 330 minutes for GSM as well as standby time of up to 396 hours for WCDMA and up to 285 hours for GSM as well as 145 minutes of video call time for WCDMA.
